Getting the Wheeling Fever
I was driving through the mountains of Siskiyou County CA on New Years Eve (during the day, lol) and my 95 Sr suddenly started running rough and lacked power enough to get to highway speed on any kind of grade. no MIL. Really weak on acceleration in town too, and has it at all rpm levels. She sounds like she's missing on a cylinder,. I checked connectors and vacuum lines, no change. I disconnected the coil connectors one at a time while running, all caused the engine to die. I pulled the plug wires one at a time and she ran really rough with each one, but didn't die, so i figure that with one dead cylinder she runs, but not with 2... New timing belt kit about 4k ago. i suppose it could be a bad coil or plug on one of the even cylinders...

At what point have you investigated fuel pressure? How is the catalytic converter?
