Body Damage is Cool
Hey guys,
Will the rotors and calipers from a 2000- 2003 Montero Sport fit the GEN I?

I looked in our compatibility thread but couldn't come across specifics.

Thanks,
Javy

Hi Javy,
Up I have not been around in some time, But yes the later Sport brakes will bolt onto the Gen 1. Check your rim clearance with the larger rotors to make sure it is what you can use.

Based upon lots of discussion on various threads, if you're after the big 315mm rotors from the 16" wheel Sports, only a handful of the 15" rims will fit, all are steel. Otherwise, must maintain using the 16" wheels.

Don't forget to get the hoses from the Sport, to match up to the c!calipers.

Previous owner swapped out some 16ÔÇØ Toyota 4-runner wheels on mine, but the junkyard one I found had OEM rims on it and seeing yours I want to snap them up now.
