1987 Raider, 2.6L, KM145 , 5 speed.

T-case chain is slipping again. Between the original t-case and two more junk yard t-cases, this is the 3rd time Im dealing with t-case chain slippage in a decade.

I don't want to go the route of another junkyard T-case. The original chain lasted nearly 25 years. So questions:

Anyone know where to get a new chain without going to Mistu and paying a fortune?

I can't find a model number on the t-case itself, How do I reference which T-case it is to seek the part with tranny supply houses?

If all roads lead to buying the part from Mitsubishi only, would I get by cheaper converting it to an auto trans/transfer?

Any help seriously appreciated.
Thanks,
Tres

Thanks!
Will do. Any clue as to the model number of the t-case itself? Every parts house I call wants to know.
Thanks,
Tres

Nope, no t-case identification...as it's a corporate unit. Parts house, pah!

You'll find your parts by giving Mitsu numbers to cross over. OE suppliers, win!
