Just curious, what kind of passenger car was it?

I have full access to the wreck (in at my other house outside Warsaw). The problem is that all the cool things are damaged. Additional interior elements are broken, one of the front rims is broken, additional lighting gone, tires damaged etc... I would like to get a truck with all these things or at least I would like to get money to buy them. But nooo.... I have a damaged 4runner, so in the best situation I will get cash for a bone stock truck. Not to mention recent 'trends' among insurance companies to lower the values by 40-60 percent (read my lips: SIXTY). So in reality I will have cash for 2/3 of the truck. I will have to pay another third to have a stock rig... What an awful situation.

The other car was an Opel I guess (Astra or Vectra or other crap). He hit me so hard that the front of the car was just a bare broken engine block. No bumper, no hood, no fenders... The impact was so strong that these parts couldn't be found anywhere. On my truck the front of the engine is OK, but the tranny is shot (the stick won't move an inch). The same with the transfer case.

Sorry to hear that Mike! As I read your post I tried to imagine that it happened to me. Yes, I am happy for you that you walked away from the accident in one piece but I definitely understand the pain of having a customized rig destroyed. It is sad indeed and any other words from me can't really help you. Hopefully, you'll be able to work on a new 4Runner and perhaps this time you'll manage to get a DIESEL.

I guess there is nothing more to say. Just watch the pictures. Now that I had time to look at the truck, I see that the frame is severely bent because the driver's side suspension acted as a lever during the collision and forced the frame inwards. The body is severely damaged (the floor is bent and all the internal plastics are bent or broken. Strangely enough, the engine is intact. The fan is OK, and the radiator is OK. But the rest is scrap metal now.
