i'm looking to buy a 90' 5 spd trooper. the price (2500) and everthing looks good on it. however, the owner mentioned there was a 5th gear noise (no other gear)and that it started about 8 mos to a year ago. i've done a search and it sounds like he's possibly put gear oil in his transmission. should i pursue this vehicle or should i write this one off and keep looking. thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!
