Saw it on the way into town today and stopped to take a quick look on the way out.

First impression is that the interior is in very good shape. I didnt see any tears. Dunno if all RS came with leather seats, but it looked like these were. Maybe naugahide, dunno.

Underneath, things weren't quite as good. Both rear lower trailing arms were bent, passenger side the worst. Nice size dent, passenger side, front skid plate.

Under the hood, the top of the engine looked good (3.2L) and I didnt see anything on the sides of the bad. Underneath, there was some oil on the crossmember and the oil pan.

The front driver fender didnt align quite properly, looks like a light impact put a bit of a bow into it, could be straightened with care. It also causes the hood to not line up properly, and the front marker light is off a little.

Sticker on it was $5995. I told the guy that was too much, especially with the suspension parts that needed fixing, but didnt haggle about the price.

Anyone wants more info or a phone #, lemme know.

Kevin

Don't expect it'll last too long at that price, either.......

A Vehicross owner who is building a house, owns a `93 RS, and knows about BOTH Uwharrie AND Moab.

OK, which one of you guys is this? --- If the seller is not a member of this community, they damn-well should be!

Cheers!

Did anyone notice that the Ebay Trooper RS was a G80...meaning it has a factory installed limited slip differential? Damn, if I didn't have so much in my '86... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Seller is Joe Black on the VX forum. Would have bought it a heartbeat if it had the 4.77:1 gears.

As it is looks like a real deal for somebody especially if you purchase the BFG TAs along with it.It looks like Scorpions on it now.
