I recently did the 0w30 and the just prior to this the dealership ran transmission fluid through the engine. Only temporary relief from the tick. In the final analysis I still have my 3.2L tick, but my milege is up to approximately 154K. I'm just haunted by the tick. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Sadly I had to get rid of my 1996 Trooper 3.2L due to a rusted frame.

Body Damage is Cool
I'm just creeping up on 250 thousand miles on my '96 trooper.
Still has factory clutch!
Timing belt let go on me at 130K, so its on its second one.
Its had a new starter, brake pads, and new rear u-joints.
Thats about it.
I made a pact with it that we would stay together until one of us dies. Smart money is on the trooper!

1987 trooper LS.'94 3.2, SAS,35's , lots of dents and rust. Now, improved, with more dents.
1995 trooper LS. Wife won't let me improve this one.
1996 trooper. I'll need something to modify when the '87 finally rusts away.
