Finished my bumper over the weekend. It is made from 3"x6"x3/16" rectangular tubing. Heavy and solid. Add bedliner to top for non-skid and took the oportunity to also line the lower doors and rockers. <img src="http://image.photoloft.com/opx-bin/OpxFIDISA.dll?s=cano&src=/PhotoLoft/Asset19/2002/06/17/9637/9637305_0_5106.fpx,0,0,1,1,512,384,FFFFFF" alt="" /> <img src="http://image.photoloft.com/opx-bin/OpxFIDISA.dll?s=cano&src=/PhotoLoft/Asset19/2002/06/17/9637/9637306_0_4813.fpx,0,0,1,1,512,384,FFFFFF" alt="" /> <img src="http://image.photoloft.com/opx-bin/OpxFIDISA.dll?s=cano&src=/PhotoLoft/Asset19/2002/06/17/9637/9637304_0_2604.fpx,0,0,1,1,512,384,FFFFFF" alt="" /> <img src="http://image.photoloft.com/opx-bin/OpxFIDISA.dll?s=cano&src=/PhotoLoft/Asset19/2002/06/17/9637/9637307_0_3270.fpx,0,0,1,1,512,384,FFFFFF" alt="" />

I can't find anything like this from anyone else...Calmini has those horrid tube bumpers, that is about it, I know DOR has some great front bumpers, but looks like you have filled a nice niched in the in the ass-end deparment...!!

Nice! The bedliner added a nice rugged look to your ride. Did you use the spray or roll on method?

First of all thanks for the compliments.
Let me answer some questions.....
It weighs about 55 pounds.
As for me making additional ones....well if I get 20 deposits <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> ......no, seriously I don't have the tooling and fixtures to make the mounts. Mine were made by hand fitting them to my vehicle. I don't have patterns for the diff years. Would not want to make something I wasn't sure would fit.
The bed liner was rolled on. I used spray where the door and rocker meet only to get in the crack and along the pinch seam. That stuff is really great. I never thought of using it on the lower portion of the truck until reading about it here. You really do learn a lot on this board.

This was not done to compete with him, it was done because I wanted to do it and wanted a design somewhat of my own and the satisfaction that I did it. I am not set up to produce these so not looking to go against DOR or INDY4x. It was made over several lunchtimes here at work.

I'm not looking to tow anything huge; an absolute max of 3,000 lbs. and 300 lbs. of tongue weight. So a Class II rating would be more than sufficient. Would your bumper handle that? Sorry, George. I didn't mean to steal your thunder on this thread. Yours is a great looking bumper. But since you're not mass-producing and I have no welding skills, I had to ask Matt. Great job, though. I wish I had those skills. Mike
