Just wondering if anyone has pic's of 31s or 32s on stock wheels.

Time for new rubber on my 92 RS.

This is some 31" BFG ATs on my truck before any lift:

This is after a 3" suspension lift on the 31" BFG ATs:

Now, I have 2" of additional body lift... Still use the BFG tires for dayly driving (just looking smaller!) I would highly recommend the BFG AT tires... They are quiet on the road. Much better handling than many tires. Excellent in snow, Ok in mud and trail use. Best of all... I average 18-19 mpg with them!! Top miles on a tank of gas is around 450. I drive a bunch though... (last tank of gas lasted 2 days)

The 95 SR that I used to have did not come with 31s, but rather 265s (which weren't much smaller than the 31s I put on when they wore out.)

I also have 31s on my 95 LS now. It has enough clearance in the rear to go 32, if not 33 when the time comes. (Will need to crank the front a little...)

In the rear I can see through to the other side, even the top of the gas tank. It seems high to me, though I don't know if the previous owner did anything with the springs. It has a full 2" over the 92 RS that I'm parting with. I'm actually wondering how the OME .75" lifted setup would compare...

I have 30s on it right now, but who knows what they were originally. If stock they were 31's, then maybe I can go with the 32's without any trouble...
Again, thanks for all your input. This is the best resource.. Hasn't failed me yet!

Check around on some of the other threads over the last month, as well as others sig lines. I traded with someone who has 32x11.50 on his stock rims.

I'm still undecided myself on where to head. 33x12.50 would be great, especially after getting stuck last weekend , but I also love Michelins as an all around tire and their LTX A/T only goes 32x11.50. I will be doing more research to see how others feel about their 33s for daily driving as the time draws nearer...

OK. I had to check. Just got back from lunch, and yup, my door sticker says I should have 31s. Thanks for calling this detail to my attention... Now I must get big tires! Ha! Ha! Ha!

To answer you ? about 32's, I've seen 33's stuffed onto the stock wheels on an SR. It wa a street machine, so I don't know how that combo will do offroad, but I think you would have no probs putting 32's on stock rims. As long as the shop doesn't care.

Need a Spot
madmitch, i just install 33x12.5 on 15x8 rims. it fits ok, but it does rubs in the front bumper a little bit. i don't have any suspension lift. all i did so far is cranked up the t-bar. the rear is no problem.

i don't think i can off road on this, because right now it rubs when pulling in to a gas station. but it does loks great with a 33's

i'll try to post a pics next time i log on. i'll borrow a d-camera.
