Getting close to time for new tires, so I am finally going to add the 2 inch BL and throw some new shoes on the girl. Can't really afford to buy 15x8's right now to accomodate the 33X12.5-15's that I REALLY want, so I must take the cheaper route for now.

Anyone have any picts of their rig on 33X10.5's??? Never seen this setup on a T before.

You dont think I should try the 33X12.5-15's on the stock steels do you? I have heard of uneven wear, but haven't heard from credible sources. Someone throw me thier .02's worth of knowledge/experience on this, would ya?

33x12.50 on 15x7 is doable but really pushing it. even 15x8 will cause center wear. you can get black 15x8 steel wheels from 4wheelparts for about $42 plus the tires you really want. they mount and balance them for free and have free freight and no tax. i think there is just a $5 handling fee. that is tough to beat and how i did my swampers.

Also, look around on Ebay...
I picked a set of new 15x8 aluminum 6 star, 2 piece wheels for $200. I just put 34x10.5 Swamper LTB's on these.

My last wheels were a set of used 15x10 Outlaws (with 33x12.5 Yokohama tires @ 75%) for $350.

Like you Chemical I'd like to see what 33x10.5's look like. That's the set up I'm going with when I quit doing other stuff like OBA, locker, so on and so on. I don't have any need for wide tires. I want 33x10.5 mudders to get deep in the woods! Hold on wait......I'm already deep in the woods! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

I got my 15x8 black steels from Summit for $155 shipped.

By the way, I only commute 2 miles a day in my T. On weekends I usually never put more than 30 miles on it, tops. (everything I need is close)

I've run 12.50's on 8" for YEARS with no appreciable center wear on any of the vehicles (my wheeling truck, 3 previous wheeling trucks, wife's 4Runner, etc). I've even run 12.50's BFG AT's on 7's with no major wear. However, this was on an 87 4Runner, so weight might be a big factor.

15x8's for 12.50's. 10.50's will be perfect on 7's.

Check the forum pics, my T has them on there. The one in the pics are the BF Mud's KM.

If you want I have a pic with the 33x10.5 SuperSwamper Thornbirds on it as well.

As mentioned, the 4 ply on the Thornbirds was a lot louder and a lot more vibration, probably not as bad as bias though.
