Cute trick... about using the bushings (with metal center sleeve) as a brace for the shackles.
On my truck I never felt I needed it. I was quite happy (even on the street) using the tall unbraced shackles.
Jim, you using poly bushings? That might stiffen things up a little bit for you.
Yo Jimmy Tom... I heard about your new ride. Too fun!
------------------
Scott Wilson
88 4Runner

Well, I HAD to get meself some sort of respectable "parts chaser! ![[Linked Image]](http://www.outdoorwire.com/ubb/images/icons/grin.gif)
And as Scott W may have already discovered, AWD ain't necessarily locked 4wd...its really hard to stack rocks under low profile tires to get it over some ledges!
Oh, and to keep this sorta on topic...Jim, do you have a torque bar or anti-wrap device hooked up? Maybe that is providing a bit of twist into the whole equation.
Over and out,
Jimmy "Dundee" Tom

Hey Jimmy, did you get a WXR? a member of RotR just ordered his in a wagon.
Are you still in Ohio?
Just wandering.
And to Mr. Brink, check your spring clamps, they should be loose, but tight enough to hold the springs straight. I think this is where mine are getting it from. 9 leaves and the straps won't fit around them. All thats left to hold them strait is the Ubolts. I'm starting to think the plates I am using for the flip has the holes a bit to wide. The square bolts fit tight, maybe these are off a little.
My typing is bad, and it's late.
------------------
Paul Elbisser #3233
TLCA Eastern Rep.
Pres Rice on the Rocks
www.riceontherocks.itgo.com
[This message has been edited by Paul Elbisser (edited 13 June 2001).]
[This message has been edited by Paul Elbisser (edited 13 June 2001).]

Hey Paul,
Yup..got myself a silver WRX Wagon. I love that thing. For a daily driver and a good little commuter car that can haul my equipment, its just perfect.
Where did one of your members order a Subie? The dealership here in Columbus has a bunch of Wagons here...a few white ones and a black one coming in at the end of the month.
Ya know, its been two long years already and I still haven't been wheelin' with any of you guys!!! When's the next trip?!?!?
I'm going to be here until early August and then I'm headed back....to the beaches!
Hope to meet up with you guys sometime!
Jimmy
[This message has been edited by Jimmy (edited 14 June 2001).]
