Just like the subject says. Anyone know how to adjust this. I notice in the lower fan speeds that the idle only drops slightly when I turn on the A/C. However, when I hit the highest fan speed then there is about a 100 RPM drop in the idle. Others have told me that their A/C kicking on raises the idle 200 RPM to 1000. Anyone know how to adjust or fix this? Also, the second to highest fan speed doesn't work when I select it. All the other fan settings are correct. Is there an easy fix for this too? Thanks for all the help guys. With summer coming (100+) weather I want to make sure and get this sorted out soon.
------------------
94 SR5 4-Runner
137000 Miles and going strong
http://www.targetpc.com

Not totally sure, but on my 5M engine, this is what it looks like - http://www.outdoorwire.com/4x4/toyota/tech/supra/part2/supra2_13.jpg
------------------
________________________
Email - mailto:caz@4x4wire.com
Web Page - www.4x4wire.com/staff/caz

what engine do you have? a 3VZ? what you are looking for is the a/c idle up valve. on the 5VZ engine it has two vacuum hoses on it. one comes from the intake air line after the mass air flow sensor and the other goes to the intake. there is an adjustment screw (allen key needed) to set it up or down. if that does not work, buy a new one. i broke the hose nipple on mine and bought a new one for $10.
scott

Yep, that's the adjustment screw. Mines on the top of the intake on my 22re and looks like a large white plastic screw head with a spring underneath. Experiment with that.

I also lost my 2nd highest fan speed. I ended up replacing the switch. When I looked at the old switch, it looked as though the contack had heated up and melted some of the plastic holding it in place. The switch is a pain to replace. My new switch is working great!
