I have been checking and none of the wreckers around here have any Hi pinnion lockers they appear to be scarce . Correct me if I am wrong but you need to use the whole housing ? Has any one used the coil spring suspension ?

they are scarce because the lockers were a special order type option. Not many people wreck and total out 50,000 dollar SUV's. Check www.car-part.com

Inchwormgear.com also sells the locker as well as certain dealers.

When calling around junkyards, I found that not one of the parts guys actually knew the difference between a locking diff and an open diff. Many of their inventories have been incorrectly labled. 3 out of 5 yards I called had their inventories wrong. I had to have the parts guys actually crawl under the truck and make sure it is the locking diff. So don't assume ANYTHING when calling the junkyard.

Never take a junkyards word on anything. I have never found something in a yard without going out and actually finding it myself...

I'm gonna go with Hy-pinion and ARB instead in the front. I'm getting it from Randy's Ring and Pinion.

Anthony,
Why don't you leave the Elocker as an electric and just build Mike Carter's control box?
