hmmmm well i guess when i did my injectors i musta broke that little thing.. i've been having really bad problems with that motor not startin when warm idleing ruff, loss of MAJOR power.. and outta that motor major power loss leaves you with about 50 hp <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> umm so i guess i broke the plastic nipple things off that bvsv .. my ?? is what does that exactly do.. does anyone have a part number and umm crap is there any way to fix it? like some super glue <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

IIRC, BVSV=bi-metal vacuum switching valve.
It does something at a certain temperature to change how the motor runs when cold/hot... that's all I can remember w/o digging into the book (which isn't here w/ me now). <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />
Hope that helps a little though...

that makes sense.. cause when its warm it runs lean i believe. it cost me like 32 bux and i don't think i can get to it without taking of the intake penuim AGAIN <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="images/icons/mad.gif" />

The part #s are usually on the valves if you look close.I might have one if you get the #.

Are you talking about the ones for the EVAP system, off the back of the intake plenum? If so, I'm surprised it had that effect: I found out this summer that mine were open / disconnected for who knows how long, and my truck ran great. As soon as I hooked them back up, ran like crap and pinged.
If this is the one you're talking about, it circulates recovered fuel vapor into your TB when the truck reaches operating temp AFAIK.
