Getting the Wheeling Fever
Beginning in 2000, some base Rodeos came with size 225/75-16 tires. Upscale Rodeos could be equipped with 245/70-16 tires. Can the larger factory wheel/tire package simply be bolted in place or is it more complicated than that? If my calculations are correct, the tire diameters are 29.287 for the 225/75-16 tire and 29.50 for the 245/70-16 tire. What I'm trying to do is sell a set of new 245/70-16 factory steel wheels and tires from a 2003 Rodeo and I thought that an owner who has the smaller factory setup might be interested....but I don't want to misrepresent the fit. Thanks.

Body Damage is Cool
Different brands have somewhat different actual sizes.
For example, my Yokohama LT225/75-16 tires have 29.6"
diameter. I replaced original P245/70-16 for LT225/75-16 and
I like this change. So, do not calculate the size - go to specs.
