Need a Spot
Bought my Kia about a year ago after spending the last 30 years
wrestling with CJ's. After a weekend in the San Juans of SW Colorado
I came away with a new appreciation of just what my pint sized 4x4 is
capable of. The first and most immediate need is going to be lift
and tires. Do any of you folks have any sources for lift kits?
Thanks in advance for your help

Welcome to the site!

Might try a "search" of this and the KIA Talk forum to get all of the info on the various people & companies that make lifts (suspension & body) for the Sportage.

I bought the Eibach spring kit from Summit Racing. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

there are a few places to order them online, don't have url's but just do a search. the Eibach 2.5 front/1.5 rear kit is usually between 250 and 300 USDollars. there are also spacers available from John Beynon through Dennis Thompson here on 4x4wire, do a search for spacers and you'll find e-mail addresses and maybe phone numbers. also, i offer a 4" kit that is basically what you get with the Eibach kit and the spacers, but you'll get more suspension articulation because it's all coils, no spacers, do a search for ROCKSPORTGEAR to find prices and info. then there is a body lift from Roger Brown at 4crawler.cruiserpages.com or something like that, it's a 1-3/8" block, don't remember price. there will also be a 3" body lift available a couple different ways soon. i also offer rear shock relocation kits that will allow as much as 25" of suspension travel in the rear. there is a price list somewhere on this board for all my stuff, but keep in mind i'm just a guy with a grinder and a welder and it takes me a while to get stuff done because i have a day job too.
