Hi my name is Dave I'm from the Isuzu forum, we've been looking around and came accross a 2000 Tracker 4 door with a four and a stick. Are there any coments, or things to look out for?? Any info would help

Bone stock 90 Trooper 2.6, 5 speed. With the aerodynamics of a brick, and the power to match.
2000 Chevy Tracker, also bone stock, well, at least until it's paid off!!!

My '90 two door is probably too old to make a good comparison, but...

Good overall quality
Rugged vehicle
Easy maintenance
Great visibility
Dependable

Rough ride (goes with being rugged I guess)
Underpowered (1.6L 8v)
Rust on all three door sills (not much, but there)
Really bad safety review (I believe the 2k's is much better)

Hope this helps, good luck.

Thanks for the info, we bought it, talked down the dealer a little and actually traded my 90 Trooper in on it. It was shot anyways, the frame was rotted out in the rear cross member and was going by the front wheel, and lately I just couldn't get it to run right, I think it had a bad injector, or something along that line. It was just too old and too far gone to start experimenting with parts. I hope it holds up well, it was a lease turn in , and Gm certified used, so it extends the warrenty, the tires are like new, as is the rest of the truck. In fact, we thought it was a 2003!!! It's just that clean. Thanks again. Dave
