I am looking at "fog" actully some lights to put them on my Grill Guard. I like Hella 4000 but I am not sure what I want.

There are couple models
Euro Beams with city light.
Pencil Beams
Fog Beams

what is the difference btw them?

I can't really comment on what are but, usually the beam pattern is determined by the lense. Basically pencil beams are long (far reaching) and narrow. Good for long stretches of highway. Fog light beams are meant to be low and wide. The idea being not to reflect back into your eyes (low). Another thing to consider is wattage (power or brightness). More = more.
Hellas are a good, well known name brand and have been around quite awhile.
