OK, I'll make it sticky for a few days if you fix your link...

Thanks to everyone who made it to the 3rd annual CO4RJ. We had just over 30 vehicles. Other than the Colorado residents, people also came from Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico, North Carolina, Kentucky, Wisconsin, and maybe other states. Thanks for a great time! Thanks to the sponsors of the free raffle, too. In addition to Azrain's skidplate, we also gave away a 10% discount for Slee Off-Road sliders, Off-Road Solutions showed up with really cool free rock sliders for a 3rd gen 4Runner in hand, and Stevinson West Toyota (parts department) gave us a bunch of hats, water bottles, keychains, and pens. If you get to these shops, please thank them for their support and let them know how much we appreciate their promotional donations.
The overwhelming group opinion for next year is to meet in Moab, Utah for the large gathering for this area of the U.S. We'll call it something other than CO4RJ, which started out as sort of a default name anyway. There still might be a smaller Colorado gathering next year, but most of my efforts will probably go toward the Moab event. Note: BLM has strict limits for large organized events in Moab and they have very stiff fines/penalties for exceeding them, so we'll probably have a strict limit in place for our gathering of something like 40 vehicles, but I'll need to check several things with them. Next Fall (like Oct.?) is likely for that event to avoid the heat of the summer.

The turnout was awesome! I snapped a little over 300 pictures. It will be a week or so before I have all mine uploaded to my site. As for Moab, that would be awesome. How about SL4RJ (Slick Rock 4Runner Jamboree)? IMO, March, April & early May are the best times to go.

Here is what I have so far from the CO4RJ 2003. Will try to post more later. I do have some of Ironchest up now. Had a great time at the jamboree. Was good to meet every one and enjoy the company on the trails. HaveBlue and Scott, Thanks for the fastest trip I have ever made up Mt Antero. 2003 CO4RJ Pics

Hello Everyone!
I really enjoyed this year's CO4RJ in spite of all our trail carnage Thanks to Jeff, The Browns, HaveBlue, Matt and everyone else for making this year's event such a big success!
Carnage report will be posted in about a week! (it's gonna be a whopper, Jeff) Our 4runner acquired all sorts of spiffy character, which ought to be an excellent theft deterrent
Be Well, Lee

Hi Lee,
I've been wondering about you and Martin. Seeing your post here tells me you made it back to California okay. I am really glad to see that. I tried to find you in BV on Sunday morning to say goodbye, but obviously I didn't have any success.
It was great to see you again. I hope the damage your vehicle sustained is repairable. Most of all, I am glad both of you are okay.
Sincerely,
-Scott

Hello Scott!
We made it back to CA just fine, just took us a bit longer than planned. All the damage is repairable and my husband is out today getting estimates and the extra parts to fix the window. Lessons to be learned and more valuable life experience are the positives to be found in these situations
I'll be back for more events in the future. I now have more of an excuse to do more modifications *hint* bigger tyres *cough* marlin crawler *sniffs* new skidplate I doubt i'll encounter much resistance now to the mods i've been wanting to do for quite awhile
