If so, is there any advice you can give me or anything special to look out for. I have a lot of tools including a set of snap ring pliers and access to a press. I have experince with engines but never rebuilt a trans. Is there any recommended kit? I found one from Transtar Industries that I might buy. The kit came with factory NSK bearings and seemed to be of good quality. It sounds like you are a pretty competent mechanic and have the tools that you need to get the job done. I STRONGLY recommend the factory service manual for this job, it was a great help.
