When I read somewhere that Honda CR-Vs Real time 4wd was co-developed with Isuzu, I got real curious about it and expected a true 4 wheel experience.

After driving my brother in-law's manual CR-V for a week, I've come to the conclusion that it is NOT a true 4WD and is in fact a girlie car.

Being real-time it has no manual transfer case shifter.

I drove it in the city for the first two days and it handled so much like a Subaru.

Last Saturday, I tried driving through my favorite dry riverbed and as I revved and tried to go up an inclined portion all the wheels started spinning, sending gravel flying al over the place!!

That sure spooked the hell out of me. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

Real time is crap. This car belongs in the street where it handles well.
No wonder there's no Honda Forum on this site!

Anyone got a look into the new Honda Element? Maybe it would qualify.

I don't like the feeling that I'm not in control.
