This is infact Isuzu related. I was watching VH1 i love the 80's and they had a clip about the Joe Isuzu ads on tv. One comment was how did the ad adgency convince Isuzu to have commercials where the facts about the vehicles are to be taken as lies. I was glad to see Isuzu to be a highlight of 1986.

If someone put all those old Joe Isuzu ads on DVD (along with some of the cooler Isuzu ads) I know I'd have my checkbook out in a hurry!

Joe Isuzu, is the name of my trail rig and Joe is my CB handle but my name is Larry. I'm a big Joe Isuzu fan and I like the VH1 spot. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

One of my favorite Isuzu commercials was the one where one of those land-speedr record vehicles is racing across the salt flats at an extremely high rate of speed. The vehicross rolls up next to it and the passenger rolls down the window, yells "you left your wallet on the roof". And the vx speeds off.

when looking for a container to hold drained brake fluid, find a container that is different from the beverage you are currently consuming.

I like the one where the guy is pushing his kid in a cart through a toy store. He's telling him don't touch this or that, etc. until he comes upon a full size Rodeo in a box on the shelf. He says, "Oh".

You meen this one http://www.rmecc.com/~v2/vx.avi right?

I like the one where two fishermen with a Rodeo are taking a "Shortcut" to a fishing hole through a weapons testing range. Still haven't found that one.

That is my favorite ad of all time. Dallas loved it when he was little.
