IÆve been off the board for a while, but IÆm back now, and I just finished up rebuilding my 3.1L v6. My wife was driving it, and managed to melt 3 rod bearings to the crank <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />. So, I replaced the crank, 3 connecting rods, all the pistons, and all the innards and the old Isuzu is BACK!!! I opted for the upgrade to the R/V cam, so it has a little more torque than before, and of course, having clean cylinder walls with new rings helps out too. I almost donÆt recognize the truck anymore since the usual lifter tick is not there anymore. Also, the lack of oil leaks also is throwing me off a bit.

I bought the parts at newengineparts.com, and they did me right.
Just thought that IÆd share!!!
