Can an Auto dimming rearview mirror with compass be bought for a 2001 4Runner? My 4Runner was purchased with a standard rearveiw mirror. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/nana.gif" alt="" />

Yes you can. I did a Gentex unit with Temp/Compass from rtassoc@triton.net (Bob). He had a few Tundra mirrors that I got in on for like $160. Those are long gone, but he has others for $180-$200. Namely Mito mirrors I think. Drop him a line - he was easy to work with. Not sure how the 3rd Gen mirros attach, but the 2nd Gen attaches to the headliner, where as these Temp/Comp mirrors attach to the windshield with one of those buttons that you glue to the glass.
