My Axiom has an open D44 rear differential, is the gasket the same for all these types of differentials or do I have to get one specific to the Axiom?

It is the open D44 with heat sink fins like the Rodeo. I checked on the Rodeo rear diff gasket and it's not really available anywhere either. Dealer?

Yea, all D44's use the same cover bolt pattern. I know, the Rodeo one doesn't cross reference in the part store computers either, i have no idea why. You'll have to try a more common vehicle, i think i used a 80's Wagoneer or full size Jeep Cherokee to find one once.

I actually now adays don't bother with the gasket as much as i tear into my diff. I find a tube of RTV does the trick just the same.
