Need a Spot

Hello!

After a break-in the other night, I'm about to replace my driver's side vent window. On the forum, I've learned I'll need to take apart the "ventilator sash spring kit..." Does anyone has suggestions/things to watch out for as I go? I've only been inside the door once before, to clean the power window master switch.
