Previous Thread Next Thread Print Thread Rate Thread broke the wire comming from oil sending unit... #360650 12/09/03 07:12 PM Anonymous Unregistered i wasa putting in a new fuel filter and cought the wire. how can i fix this? it snapped flush with the fitting. i'm not worried about it right now, cause i have the instr. cluster without a tach, so its just an oil light. in a few weeks i'll be putting in a cluster with a tach, replacing the sending unit, but i will still need this wire and fitting i broke. any help would be much appreciated. I know on my truck there is actually a short pigtail connected to the main harness. This pigtail can be picked up at the dealer for either the oil psi sender or the idiot light sender.
