Valve Noise in T100 #361812 12/11/03 05:36 PM

The truck has 96,000 on it, and I have religiously changed oil at 2500 mile intervals. I now am noticing a "valve train type" of noise above 2500 rpm. what has me puzzled is that I only hear it after the truck has warmed up. I would think it should be there at start up when the engine is cold, but no dice.
Any ideas guys.

it might be your injectors, which is normal.

Yup, Older injectors can make a ticking noise. Mine started at around 100k.
