The picture links on the first page didn't work but I was able to see the pics on the second link.

Looks like a Great trip. Cold... but fun none the less.

I like the mount for the laptop. Was that off the shelf or fabricated? I assume fabricated?

that reminds me of how last night went. Thank god for cell phones, towstraps, and a friend with a montero, oh and shovels.

Yes, it is homemade and very stable, takes 5 min. to remove.

I use Garmin Legend GPS connected to a Thinkpad, GPSUtility (software from U.K.) and scanned maps. It is the only safe way to travel in the highlands at this time of year.
