Body Damage is Cool
Ok I sold my all 4 of my 33x12.5 mud king tires w/rims and in trade I got a set of 5 32x11.50 BFG AT KO's with AR767 rims all have over 3/4 tread except the 5th one which has about 25% is the spare. He is giving me $250 as well on top of this. He works at a offroad shop and can get bigtime discounts on ARB bull Bars. My question is should I just take the money buy a lock right locker? Should I tell him to keep the money and give him a little extra for a ARB bullbar? Or should I get the bull bar and see how cheaply he can get the lock right as well?

Ok so it goes:

1. Lock Right?
2. ARB Bull Bar?
3. You know you want both of them.....

I am thinking #3 but I don't want to be too greedy

He also mentioned he could get a ARB air locker cheap too but I think I want a mechanical more. I also didn't mention my current front bumper is pretty bent and screwed up so I do need to replace it.

I would go for the bumper.

Roll Me Over
If I were you I'd take my time and do it right the first time. I'd get the air locker first 'cause I figure you are wanting capability. Then, I'd save my pennies for the bumper.

Are you re-geared? You'll want to do that when the locker is installed so you can save labor on one diff.

If you only have a little bit of cash though, maybe the bumper for now.

Frank.

Given a choice between a manual locker like an ARB air locker or an automatic unit like a Lockright, I'd take an air locker every time.

Should you look cool first,,,or be capabile first,,,,I tend to say screw the looks,,,,get an air locker,,,,,Unless you want to "LOOK COOL" in the parking lot,,,,Oh I meant on the trail <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" /> My BAD,,,But on the serious note,,,having I nice meaty bumper to hook up to isnt bad either,,,,but I would rather try to drive out first then use a bumper to get pulled out....Jason

Well I could try to swing both a mechanical rear locker and the bullbar but I would need to find a extra $100-150 for that though.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
I put big tires then a winch and then a locker the last being the most valuable if I had it to do over it would have been locker first then tires then winch and bumper

just my .02 cents worth

I would lock it first it will be the most wheeling value for the buck.
