Has anyone seen a york mounted on a 22RE truck equiped with ABS. The passenger side frame rail has the ABS control box/pump which may interfere with a York in the AC pump location. I've seen many 22R's with yorks but never one with ABS.

Yes, converted York air conditioning compressor converted to be used as simply an air commpressor <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

I know ErikB did some work mating a York to a 22RE. Took two iterations and kept the stock AC compressor, so it might fit. But its close. PM him.

Another option is talking to Bud Rosenberger at Budbuilt. He has York A/C compressor brackets listed on his website.

I talked to Bud about it, he himself did not like his setup and was pulling it. It had about 10% wrap on the stock AC compressor pulley...
Roll yer own, it looks like. The first fabricator to come up with an AC retaining York mount kit should sell a couple of 'em...

Pull the A/C. In the summer I have the top off, and really, AC is useless when you dont have the top on...it just blows cold air out the back. I only use my AC to defog my windows in the winter. I did a homemade piggyback version of Bud's York bracket, and it works great for me!
