04 double cab 4X4, toyota OEM bug shield problem

Just got the truck 2 days ago, and with toyota OEM bug shield on, left frt of the hood doesn't sit flush with the left fender, it only stay flush with the shield remove, anybody have similar problem. Will take truck back on the 14th.

i have the same problem, but my hood won't close with both the bug shield and the rubber weather stripping on. I had to take the rubber strip off, then the hood closed and sits flush. Let me know what you find out.

I took it back and they try with 2 different new shield and it end up the same, the hood/shield/weather stripping are sitting on the chrome grill, so I return it and got a refund.
