Hey Guys! I was cruisin' the tech page on customtacos.com, and I came upon this 2003 Keyless Entry System Upgrade page. This guy actually tells you how you can upgrade your keyless entry system into a fully functional alarm for free! It's very easy too. It took me a total of 10 minutes to do everything! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> This is the link to the site: http://www.customtacos.com/tech/index.php?page=index_v2&id=12&c=6

Hey guys, The 2003 upgrade works on the 2004. But the Singl pin connector is located in a different spot on the 04's. You have to take your lower dash panel off, thats below the steering wheel. In order to do this you need to take four bolts and a phillips screw out. The left kick panel and loose the plastic strip between the door and the carpet. Once this is all done then the lower panel below the steering wheel, will come out. Now look directly below the the steering wheel there will be a cluster of wires. outside one cluster of wires and sligtly to the left of the steering wheel you will see a single wire with a white connector. Thats the one, unplug it and viola automatic $450 upgrade (minus the glass breakage sensor). To test the upgrade Place all removed parts back and roll window down. Close doors and lock car with keyless remote. Wait apporoximately 30 secs and reach in and manually unlock the door. Alarm should activate. To turn off activated alarm press unlock button on keyless remote.
