Photoshop! Toyota is to release the new Tacoma at the Chicago autoshow feb. 5th. I have a press pass and will be at the opener before the public, I will be posting pics that evening (5th.). So look for it then.

I shure hope it doesn't look like that picture!

Looks like a 'chopped 4R! I hope that isn't it.

The photos of the 2005 Nissan Frontier are out and it looks fantastic, plus it has a ~260hp VQ-series 4.0L V6. Toyota has some real competition, I hope they hit a homer......

That's definitely not it - wouldn't sell.

There is a guy on customtacos.com that has an avatar of what looks like an 05... I'll try to post it here.

Photoshop!! G/F is in graphic design, her and her professor from a brush-up class spotted that in seconds. smile According to a PhD, the artist (using the term loosly) doesn't know what they're doing when it comes to making fake things look real. I agree.

Oh well, it still sucks. I think Edmunds actually has some pix of the Taco's with some black bags on it.

The Honda SUT is a uni-body all-independent suspension, no low range thingy based on the Odyssey/Pilot. That doesn't qualify as a truck.

Need a Spot
It's fudged. Look closely at the mountains in the backround. About 1 in. above the hood and about 1 in. above the bed. It's identical.

Good pointer... I thought it was a good job til I saw the similarities in the mountains above the hood and bed. Good eyes...
