I have an 02 Trooper 5spd. I have been searching online for a clutch with a stronger hold than the factory unit. No luck. If anybody knows of one please let me know.

Is yours dead or slipping. If it is neither, you would be wasting money replacing it with a unit that you will never use to its full potential. The stock clutch should be good for most usage, as long as it is not abused (which is true for any part, any vehicle).

Short answer, is because of the design of the late model 3.2/3.5 clutch, there are very few options. Centerforce does have one, but I am not sure how it compares to the stock clutch, and they are VERY proud of it. Other than that, your other option is to have someone build you a clutch with a different friction material, in hopes of getting more bite.

Good Luck,
Michael

Thanks for the input. I see what you mean about the cost of the centerforce unit. OUCH!!! I'll have to think about that one, but mine is still good so I have time.
