Well, it was bound to happen. The very FIRST unscheduled maintenance task on my Tacoma. My truck only has 144,000 on it, but the front spindles/wheelbearings are off another truck. Part of the 4x4 conversion. The front wheel bearings have finally gone by the way side with 237,000+ miles on them. I'm impressed. It didn't take long either...I'd say within 500 miles the noise started and got worse. The right front is slightly worse than the left one. But they both went at the same time. Anyone else had to change a wheel bearing yet? What mileage? Just curious. I've changed several of them before incase anyone has questions. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />
