I wish it would snow more here. We have 4 inches on the ground but the air temp is -10 which makes it too cold to snow. We are under a wind chill warning though, -20 to -40 with the wind chill. That is cold enough to make your <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" /> pucker. Zu related when it gets this cold my Troop starts to act funny, but as soon as it warms up everything is fine. The alternator takes a bit longer to reach 14 volts on the gage. Battery is fine. Oh the cold is fun. Not. This is why I love my Auto Hubs. It is too cold to get out and lock anything in. They would probably freeze open anyways. Try to stay warm.

Yeah, I love the snow. I went backpacking in the snow on the Appalachian Trail on Sunday afternoon through Monday. On the way home someone skidded off the road and was stuck on Rt. 64. I GENTLY applied the brakes to slow down so I could pull or winch them out, but my Rodeo Sport went sliding all over the place (short wheelbase didn't help). But, I recovered it and stayed on the road. The moral is: If someone has skidded off the road, it's for a reason. The road is probably iced over where they skidded, which means it is a very bad place for you to change speed. Next time I'll coast to stop and back up.
