Yeah...FWIW I really think EGR system cleaning is the key to that oil consumption problem, especially when a dramatic increase in consumption occurs in an engine in otherwise good running order...

I have acquired some extra-long pallets suitable (I think) for shipping the ARB and Calmini bumpers! Shipping usually runs $120 - $150 truck freight.

Just to throw out another idea for shipping. Forward Air offers terminal to terminal freight for $50 or so. I have shipped over 275 lbs. on a single palette and it only cost $47. You might want to check them out. They seem to ship by size and not so much by weight. Click on this link and select the closest terminal to you and give 'em a call. ForwardAir Locations - Norm H.

Odd that air freight could be less expensive than truck...even more odd that they don't care about weight. Weight is everything in airborne transportation...
Definitely worth a look, though, thanks for the link! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Just as a note, Forward Air isn't an air freight only company. They also operate a truck freight line that feeds their air system and leases or feeds into several other carriers. We used some of their trailers in conjunction with a carrier contracted to ABXAir for a while. If you're shipping lowest cost by the pallet-load, it'll be going by truck unless they just happen to need something to fill a flight to where your piece is going. It's really the same as UPS, FedEx, or Airborne, but since they don't have as much invested in public marketing, they can run their fares lower for similar profit margins.

Found some more stuff from the Trooper I might as well sell...a Wheel Lock Set and a factory Cargo Security Cover. Go to the link on the first post of this thread for the new items.
