Today my MS did something realy wierd. I put on my left turn signal and the light on my head unit (Kenwood) would dim everytime the turn signal flashed. Normally the head unit dims when I turn on the headlights. This was around 4:30 PM so it was still clear out. Just now as I was leaving my GF's house, the dash lights were off (I had not turned on my lights yet) and when I put on my brakes to shift into D, my dash lights came on. They came on at a very low voltage as you could see the light but is was not very bright.

The only aftermarket electrical stuff I have on are fog lights, towing plugins, stereo system, CB radio, and a GPS. Of course, all of these weren't on at the same time.

Please, anyone help me figure this one out. Thanks

Your problem sound pretty strange Juancho. Maybe start checking your grounds? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Anymore whenever I get a goofy electrical problem, I start with the grounds and connections. Most of the time that will fix it.

Nathan, I found it. It was the trailer hitch connection. It had some condensation in it and was cunducting enough current to slightly light up the dash.

Thanks for your input, and hope all is well in school.

Way to go! That makes perfect sense, I've had that happen when hooking up to other peoples trailers with unknown wiring problems.

School's going good. I can't complain(yet <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/baby.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />).
