I am running a flowmaster. I am fairly happy with it, but I did add a glasspack between the cat and the muffler to calm the sound down a bit and get rid of the "farting" noise.

I'm running a FM 40 delta flow.
When the time comes, I'll replace it with a Magnaflow.

This may sound like a dumb question to some of you guys but what size muffler do I get?I have a 97 T100. They offer different offset sizes. Here's the page I'm lookin at.

I had a flowmaster. I got a 3" exhaust and that was a problem.
Should stick to 2.5" (any larger and you lose back pressure).
The sound was ominous (I set off numerous car alarms when in downtown Philadelphia) but also misleading- it sounds like a V8 but performs like a V4

Keep the same pipe diameter as stock. Might be able to get away with 2.5" but don't waste money on 3".

Currently, I am running the TRD exhaust package and its been fine.

That makes sense. AFAIK the main difference between a stock and a "free flow" exhaust is the pipe diameter at the bends. I'm pretty sure my Borla is the same diameter as stock, but the diameter stays consistent throughout. I think this is called mandrel (sp) bending. This is what makes the extra power without losing your low end. No kinks where they bent the pipe.
I didn't worry about the pipe size. I just called Borla and told them what I was driving and they did the rest. I immediately noticed that the engine was breathing better after I installed it. Definitely a good mod, plus it should out last the truck.
Of course with the 2.7, I had nowhere to go but "up" with the power
