Last week I dropped in a new intercooler. Much bigger than the one I had before, and it no longer goes above the engine so I now I can get rid of that scoop

Anyway, I also ran my exhaust straight back instead of the x-over under the oil pan. Moving my gas tank to the rear a long time ago allows me to do that.

Got rid of my 2 90 degree crush bends and about 3 more smaller crush bends. Now I just have one 90 degree mandrel bend.

Temporary running no cat, will put on later this week, so I just have the muffler right now.

I used to run 13psi, now I run 15psi but with much better flow.

At 13psi and old setup 0-60, 6.5 -7.0 seconds.
At 15 psi and new setup 0-60 5.5-6.0 seconds.

I still have to tune the AFC, but I can't do that until I get on the DYNO, and I on my IC, I had to make some elbows with smaller pipe until I get some larger cast elbows, so that is causing an air restriction.

Goal is to run at 16-17psi 5.0 seconds flat in the 0-60.

It is better to make torque at high rpm than at low rpm, because you can take advtage of gearing.

Should be ready for RMR pretty soon, need track bar and new clutch. Von, you make it out there yet?

Lockers cost too much $$$, eventually I will get one, or two, but a house comes first.

So did you ever find the reason why they won't allow Swampers?

Have you modified the stock turbo? Innovative Turbo supposedly does good work. Are you planning to drop in a Lexus AFM and 550 injectors at some point? When properly tuned, that ought to get you to your goal. The stock turbo elbow is also pretty restrictive, but if you don't want quicker spooling it's better to leave it like that.

I think they'd allow Swampers if you show up running them. I think it was just convenient for the track monkey to say "No" (not sure if he knows what a Swamper is).
As for me, I may focus on trying to sneak my way into an SCCA type event. I'd really like to show off my exceptional cornering skills. Be sure to tell me when you're going to RMR.
