I have all the parts sitting around, most of 'em universal though the lever is from an old CJ. I can rig a way to mount it to the carb and run the cable through the fire wall and mount the lever on the shifter.

Mainly what I want to know is if anyone has any real world experience on the trail with one either in a Zu or other rig. Does it really help with the three pedal dance on hills if you stall? Any major cons I should be aware of?
I did a search but didn't find a lot of opinions and that is what I am looking for, a general consensus of them. Chime in if you had any run ins with them, good or bad.

Thanks in advance

I have a hand throttle on my riding lawn mower. It has a turtle for slow and a rabbit for fast. I have it set to rabbit all the time.

It really helps when starting on hills, especially since the clutch and the brake are the same pedal, I only have that one pedal to worry about.

Check out his sig for the pics. It's in the "Cool, DIY Mods #2" folder.

when looking for a container to hold drained brake fluid, find a container that is different from the beverage you are currently consuming.
