Two questions -

1. Does anybody know if buckets from a '97 SR5 are a direct bolt up in a '96? I'm going to put it in anyway, just wanting an idea of the work to anticipate.

2. Anybody interested in a 60/40 split bench from a 96? Color is tan (Oak?) Freight is probably prohibitive. I'm in SC. I could make you a good deal, maybe even work out some sort of delivery within reason.

ps - the junk yard (I mean "automotive recycling center") I found might have other parts from that 97 SR5, like a lighted map mirror... D&K, Dunn, NC 1-800-322-1223 Just don't ask for the driver side seat - it's mine

off topic, but you think they have the motor from that 97 SR5?

(planning ahead...)

no, only 3 out of 4 holes are bolt up. you have to get a little creative.

3 out of 4 ain't bad - the piece o' crud bucket from an 88 truck only had 1 out of 3 line up It hasn't been the greatest seat (springs are sprung), but it's been alright. Having buckets definitely makes the interior space more usable, expecially if you have passengers back there. Of course, the only passengers that will fit comfortably are those under 4' tall. And I've got three of those.

I can ask about the engine and the general condition of the truck when I call back tomorrow.

Update : engine and speaker boxes are gone
