just need to use the old pulley to make it all work. Pops just got done installing the alt earlier. From searchin the net, seems the van alt pushes 75 amps. Hope this helps someone. Now to get lucky and find a 3000gt at the jy. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

The stock 3.0L alternator already puts out 75amps. Is this a cheaper alternative?

Dunno chief, just pulled it from the junkyard as there were no Monty's at the yards here. Local parthaus wanted $150 for a rebuilt one. Paid $30 for the alt and I hope she last for awhile. Just want to run as I miss driving her.

Yeah, that sounds like a good alternative to me! $30 is worth the gamble, and you have a rebuildable unit after it goes. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Yeah, I will bring in my old alt to hopefully be rebuilt up to 110 amps or more. BTW, when we opened up my orig alt, the voltage reg was all messed up.
