I belive it is a alternative to buying a FIPK. Im I right? Second, train yourself to use the search function on this site, it's very helpful in finding information. Third, as for the deckplate mod, here is a link to a write-up. Just scroll half-way down and you will find it. As for better mileage just keep your rig well maintained, all tuned up, correct tire pressure, etc. and it should give you decent gas mileage.
