So I had my truck broken in right in front of my house a few weeks back. And my speakers + stereo was stolen. Most likely by my roomates druggy friends (I am moving out next weekend).
So i replaced the speakers, so far I installed 2 6-9 3 way sony Xplods in the rear under the fold-down seats in the extended cab.

All the work was done by myself with the sawzall etc. (:
I'll drop in the dooor speakers and sub in the next weekend or so (:

Yeah even though i like to jump my truck, i baby it... i want to put new carpet and upholstery in it though
I am thinking of putting in some nice lexus seats in there too (:

Body work and paint are next though,
I'll take pics when i get the doors and the sub in.

If i get my engine that is sitting in california built up that might get swapped in too, we'll see (:

I like that a lot! Now I'm undecided, to put my speakers there or on top, under the seats, from the other posts I have read!

Do both! Put some 6x9's or 6.5" components where Oakey put his and then mount a couple of 10's under the seats

I have my 10's mounted under the seat but i am getting ready to mold them into the side walls under the extended can windows. Just want my storage space back. [Linked Image]

Need a Spot
A couple tips to prevent theft:
I bolted an Eye Bolt to my sub, attatched a chain to the eye bolt, and bolted the chain to the floor.

Also use several different types of screws to make it harder and longer for a thief to unscrew the speakers or amp. Or try some of these screws:
