ok i got 94truck with downey control arms.all the ft end parts like idler and pitman look ok.was all good then other day went wheeling now its wasted.caster and camber has always been a chore to set on it but i cant get it close now.if i do get it close the tie rods hits the idler and pitman arms.i have it setup really stupid right now so everything clears and its drivable but id like to kinda fix it.i am planning sas soon but i got a couple runs i wanted to make before then.
basiclly there is no clearance between tie rod sleeve and pitman arm.normal its fine flexed a bit tie rod sleeve runs right into pitman arm.appears to hit much more on pitman arm than idler.nothing appears bent.i should also let you know this was first run since i put in a 4.7 case.i dont know if the case culd have helped mess up the ft but i cant get it right now.anyone ever have a problemlike this???any suggestions would help.thanks
