I need to put some flares on a 96 and was looking for some feed back on what people have used .I would like the type that bolts on like the OE TRD style flare. The last set of bushwackers I used on a third gen truck sucked because of the drilling required (a good place for rust to start). <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

hey man,
as far as the rust goes, hit it w/ some rattle can and it shouldn't be a problem. Other than that, I know bushwacker makes flares that are pretty much bolt ons, that way you don't have to do any modifying! Peace, Wes

If price is the issue, i got some OEM flares off ebay for like 250. They where new from a dealer in Fl, all parts where there and the where cheaper then the aftermarket flares.

i got the bushwacker flares that are just a little bigger than the stock TRD's and they just bolt on to the factory holes, no drilling at all

I got mine off of ebay from truckimage.com Here is their web link. They bolted up to factory holes and look just like toyota flares

Went with the bushwackers , they are very close to the TRD flares and used the factory holes.I would recomend them unless you want to cover larger tires.
