Getting the Wheeling Fever
'93 YJ S, 4 cyl, 5 speed (AX5?)

What is 5th gear ratio? 1:1, or overdrive?
I'm just curious... I know I have 4.10 (or 4.11) diff gears, and seems like I should be pulling more revs at 70, but I could (easily) be mistaken.

Thanks!

an ax5 has a 5th ratio of .79:1, same as the ax15 iirc.

So 4th gear is the 1:1 gear, and 5th is overdrive, 0.79:1. Thanks!

Wow, 4.74 reverse ratio, that explains the little reverse peel-out last night when I was hurrying a little bit...

If it's on the internet It's gotta be true! Right? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> May be more than one option, I don't know. Either way it's overdrive! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
