The check engine light is NOT on.. could the O2 sensor be bad? or the MAS. The plugs are brand new.

PLUGS ARE BRAND NEW!" that is the first thing i would check! make sure that they are all gaped to the right specs.!!! then get a new o2 if that doesn't work! then the next then the next untill you figure it out! I only get 250 a tank on my 2003 v-6! but i do have alot of weight added, 33's and a very heavy foot with charger and fuel mods. red

Usually 400 miles before fill ups in the warmer weather. But I have the 2.7L stump puller!

You should look into cleaning out your throttle body and maybe your MAF sensor as well since you'll have your air tube out. Drop in a can of BG 44K or other injector cleaner for 2 tankfuls and see where your mileage gets you. I say 2 tanks because one can to loosen the depsits and the second can on your next fillup to clean them all out. Keep us updated! BTW, I've been getting about 255 miles per tank ever since I used BG 44K.

my truck had a vacuum leak that ate some gas. the hose had to actually break before the MIL lit up. also check your tire pressure, which is a big killer on our trucks, too.
last fill-up was 21mpg for my in my 5-spd 3.4L x-cab TRD

Have you found any discounts on the BG 44K? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Mark, try this link... It's one of the cheapest places I've found. http://store.yahoo.com/bbjeep2/jeepbgadfuel.htmlOr, you head on over to the yotatech.com site and there's a memeber by the name of Todd "TOR" who's the main parts guy at Richardson Toyota in Texas. Great prices on anything you need for your rig!
